Why and How You Should Create a Vision Board |‘Manifesting in the Real World’ Episode Two

Vision boards are not necessarily just a spiritual concept. In my opinion, they make logical sense too. Studies have shown that you’re more likely to achieve a goal if you’ve written it down. Well, if a picture is worth a thousand words, then accompanying your written goals with images will surely help you achieve them!

Today I want to tell you why you should create a vision board and share some tips on how you can create one that will work effectively so that you can manifest in the real world.

This is Manifesting in the Real World, Episode Two!

What is the Law of Attraction & How Does it Work? ‘Manifesting in the Real World’ Episode One

The Law of Attraction has garnered quite a reputation. Not going to lie, I have gone through a little bit of a love-hate relationship with the term, and how it is sometimes portrayed as a little too airy-fairy. But I feel like I understand it better than ever before now – in terms of using it to attract more positivity and to manifest what you want into your life. There’s much more to manifesting than meets the eye…

The Law of Attraction and Manifesting don’t have to be these otherworldly, unattainable spiritual concepts. You don’t have to feel the pressure to be perfectly positive all the time, to be all love and light with no shadows and no depth. Not only is this idea impossible to achieve, but it’s also a form of spiritual gaslighting. In this series, I want to show you how possible it is to be your multi-faceted, beautiful self, living your life fully through all the ups and downs – while still manifesting the best life that you can possibly imagine.

How to Reconnect To Your Intuition - Jumping Down The Spiritual Rabbit Hole!

When I first started learning Tarot, I kept hearing the word ‘intuition’. “Trust your intuition,” “Listen to your intuition”, “Connect to your Intuition…” And I thought, okay, I get it. I just go with my ‘gut instinct’ right? How hard could that be?

Before I knew it, seeking out my intuition became the bigger, more important task. I realised that the divination tools were simply to help me get there. Tarot, oracle and Lenormand cards, rune stones, charms, and tea leaf reading, even seeking advice from a pendulum… These are all helpful tools that help you to connect to your intuition.

But they are just methods, just tools – they are not intuition itself. They helped me immeasurably, and continue to help me, every single day. But to really use them to their full potential, I had to understand what intuition meant first.

In today’s video, through this blog and on my YouTube channel, my hope is to help you reconnect to your intuition.

Tarot Spreads for Clarity Part Two: Mixing it up with Oracles, Charms & More!

Welcome to Part Two of Tarot Spreads for Clarity – showing you how to use a variety of different oracle cards alongside tarot, charm casting, and rune stones. I do recommend checking out Part One first – click to read and watch it here! In Part One, I share two spreads that will help you to find clarity and take action on your goals.

Today in Part Two, I want to demonstrate how to mix things up – using more than just one deck of cards. I love using rune stones, charms and multiple decks in my readings, as it adds so much depth and it’s honestly really fun! As I said in Part One, it’s not necessary to do – but if you’re curious how that might work, this video is for you!

The example I’ll share today uses the ‘Take Action’ three-card layout, two different oracle decks, Tarot, charms, and last but not least, a rune stone. I’ll show you how all these different forms of divination work together in a spread, to form a cohesive and detailed reading.

How To Use a Pendulum for Divination

The first time I used a pendulum, I honestly didn’t expect it to work.

My 6-year-old niece was sitting with me, and she’d found it on my desk and asked what it was. The pendulum was brand new, recently arrived in the mail from an Etsy shop. I wanted to try using it, by all means. I was very curious, and I did really believe that it would work – but not straightaway, certainly not so easily — and not with my energetic niece sitting with me at the time!

In today's video, I unbox 'The Cup of Destiny' created by Jane Lyle and try reading tea leaves for the first time! Learning Tarot - How to Draw a Daily Tarot Card

A few years ago, while working in a bookshop, I started looking into Tarot cards. I brought a deck and a guidebook, and I loved it - but I was a tad overwhelmed by it too. I eventually placed it on the shelf, only glimpsing at it occasionally. But over the last six months or so, I’ve been practicing Tarot again. I’ve gotten into a habit of drawing a single card for myself, every morning. Usually I just ask for a little guidance for the day. What should I be aware of today? What insight can this card give me to make the most of my day?

My Cacao Ceremony - Why & How I Start My Day with Chocolate

I’m not much of a morning person. I really love sleep, and my warm, cozy bed. But I also love chocolate. So it’s no surprise that what wakes me up and drags me out of bed at 6am is a steaming mug of hot cacao. Rich, fragrant, cacao, with just a touch of cinnamon and cardamom. If my morning routine included just that and nothing else, I’d be happy. But I don’t just guzzle down the cacao while staring at my phone, chow down some brekky, and power up the laptop. Every morning, I start my day with what’s called a cacao ceremony. It may sound a little silly. but it’s actually so awesome!
